For municipalities we have created the so-called Autonomous Camera. Each municipality has places that need to be monitored either from the security point of view (office building, school, community centre, playground, park etc.), or from the economic point of view (collection point for sorted waste, collection yard, places of possible black dumps, etc.) or from the traffic point of view (entrance to the municipality, exit from the municipality, critical traffic points, etc.).
It is a device that is powered either by the electricity grid or by public lighting. The technology has an LTE 5G modem with a SIM card (traffic is paid by the operator), through which the camera footage is sent via a secure VPN tunnel to the recording device. A single recording device can connect 8, 16, 32 or even more autonomous cameras distributed throughout the municipality. One access to the recording device is all it takes to view the footage, and from there you can view the footage of the selected camera. The technology also handles online display at the security center/counter. The length of the recording is affected by the size of the disk array. It is usually in the range of 14 - 45 days.
Each installation of an autonomous camera is preceded by a site survey to determine the technical possibilities of connection, to determine the sufficiently strong signal of the mobile operator.
The installation of the camera with all the technology and its setup takes approximately 1 day.
